Conjunction will be on March 2nd.

We can look forward to a Venus and Mars conjunction on 22 February 2024. They'll look like this in the morning sky...

My daughters and I love to snark about the weather in other areas. We know that many geographic areas are not used to extreme weather, but after nearly 15 years in North Dakota (yikes), we get a b****y sense of fun out of it. I suppose it's a defense mechanism of sorts—makes us feel a bit better about being stuck here (for now, at least):

That's pretty much what most people do. We are under yet another Winter Storm Warning, but I'm getting out to meet someone for coffee today before I go totally batsh-t crazy.

I couldn’t either. I saw them Wednesday night though. I had a great view in the grocery store parking lot. There weren’t many people around but I hope the few that walked by knew there was actually something neat to see and that I wasn’t crazy. lol I also saw the Green Comet on a grocery shopping night. It became visible around 6:15 as I was driving to the store. I haven’t been able to properly describe how it looked (or how it made me feel) but I definitely saw green. And I had no idea what I was seeing. It kind of freaked me out until I remembered it was coming!

I can understand that, Kev. I don’t like driving in it and I’ve lived in this climate my whole life! It’s only a few inches but we haven’t seen much of it in any amount this winter. It’s been mostly rain, ice storms and wind. Lots and lots of wind.
