Why did GM last so long ?
George Martin produced them but he also put in all the orchestras and sh*t that no one liked. so why then did the beatles at least ask him not to tamper with their music. even Paul didn't like having the orchestra in his songs on LIB. He also ruined the YS album cause 3/4 of the album was his scores. So why did they allow him to do that, i mean besides the fact that he did produce them.

It wasn't George Martin's orchestra on Let It Be. It was Phil Spector's 'wall of sound' that bothered Paul.
