The Pound Is Sinking

Just love his voice (especially when he screams,,,,'Oh,,it didnt happen') and the different stages of the song.

(On a sidenote, I love the guitar solo on 'Somebody Who Cares')

I voted Somebody Who Cares because of the special atmosphere in the song. Plus I love the solo on acoustic guitar.

Take It Away. A catchy pop song. I love the chorus and brass in the end. Perfectly produced and recorded, and with two drum sets, one of them played by Ringo!  :)

i voted the title track 'Tug of War', one of his finest songs,
a beautiful melody!

BUT, ISN'T ANYONE TEMPTED TO VOTE 'EBONY & IVORY'? :P

Great guitar solo in this one too, not to mention the drumming by Dave Mattacks. Good song.

Tug of War. Just for the moment when Paul sings "..in years to come they may discover.." That little section. 33 seconds of sheer beauty. When he sings "..but it won't be soon enough.." it just hits me right here. *pounds chest*

I made a loop of that section somewhere. I can listen to it for hours.

I really think Wanderlust is the all-time favorite Paul song of my mother. She always sings out of key the tune when I play the record.

Tug of War - what a great album. Thank you Paul.  :)

I like Ebony and Ivory because i think it reminds me of my childhood days, when my uncle used to tell me about it a lot and when i grew up i downloaded it and it was really a great song. ;D

I voted Here Today. Very nice lyrics, very emotional, gets the messege across, singing beautiful.

Wonderlust is another good one off this album for me.

Tug of War is good too, but its too long at the end I reckon.

Wanderlust. I think his voice sounds so good on it. I just like it a lot. One of my favorite Paul songs, not just on this album, but overall.

Here Today is a good song, but it is too sad.

there are too much... I really can't choose any of them because all of them are masterpieces, from "ebony n ivory" to "dress me up as a robber". really awesome thread, but that album had too many great songs :)
