I don't buy physical recordings anymore, but they sound awesome. Like Giles said you can hear Ringo's kick drum in A Hard days Night !

Trivia question;
Who played the bongos in the verses ?

Is it Norman Smith?

Yes apparently so Moog.
Ringo couldn't quite cut it so Norman just said "Give em here" and did it perfectly  glassesslip

I’ve listened to a few with ear phones. Yeah. The drums and bass come through much stronger.  icon_good  Interesting that he pans the guitars fairly hard (rhythm on A Hard Days Night and the distorted guitar on Revolution for instance )

i agree, the bass and drums are cranked forward in the mix.  For the most part I enjoy it this way, there was one song, now I forget which it was, I thought "uh, not better".  It was on the blue album, let me have another listen and get back.

I like most of the extra tracks also, could have changed a few choices maybe but good overall
