New Apple?

Suddenly, after YEARS of waiting, we have the imminent release of Help! on DVD and a recent compilation album saw the inclusion of a Beatle track (Please Please Me appears on 50 years of the Cavern).

So, since the departure of Neil Aspinall, are we seeing a new attitude to The Beatle legacy? Is this "New Apple"?

I read somewhere that the choice of MD was made to 'speed things up' Hope it's true. I hope they've realised that they could actually have been on their second or third remastered series by now if they'd been smart, with all the added income that would have generated.

And 4 months on, what are your thoughts now?

No news of Remasters, the mp3 download thing seems to have stagnated, no news of Let It Be on DVD, Yellow Submarine seems to have been deleted.

New Apple? Rotten to the core as usual.

Will todays cuts in staff at EMI effect The Beatles remasters ?
I was watching Guy Hands the boss of EMI who's just got rid of a two thousand staff and i was very worried things may now be put on the back burnner ? with regard to The Beatles .

I don't think it's down to EMI. It's Apple that hold all the cards.
