Great article about the Pianet and the Beatles.
And yes I got my albums mixed up. The Beatles pianet album is above all Help!

You're welcome, zipp. That's my Pianet N pictured above. It had its pads replaced a few years ago and plays nicely.
Here's the thread I started just after I bought it: Hohner Pianet N This article lists Beatles songs where the Pianet is played: The Beatles' Hohner Pianets A few of my favorite non-Beatles songs featuring the Pianet... |

This looks really good; it's being released on May 24 on Disney+: I remember back in 1990, I think it was, reading about Paul raving about Pet Sounds. So I bought the album and was unimpressed and puzzled by what I wasn't getting (i.e., understanding). It took years to grow on me, but now I can truly appreciate it. |

Yeah, thanks for that.
Did Beatles For Sale use The Hohner Pianet more than other albums? Here's some info I didn't know about this instrument : |

I liked that song when it came out. It was the perfect closing credits song for Look Who's Talking... |

Pete Townshend turned 79 today (May 19). I would not have gotten through adolescence without him.
This song actually has a spiritual meaning, much like "The Sea Refuses No River" from All the Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes. He's so graceful! And John "Rabbit" Bundrick's skill on the keyboards never fails to amaze me. |

Thank you, Kevin. It's good to know I wasn't the only one not in the know about George's quitting. It seems like practically no one knew until Get Back came out. How is such a thing not known for so long? Amazing. Well, then again there's the "moon landing" - LOL
I see what you mean about quitting in difficult situations. But - but - it's The Beatles! Whatever. He came back and made some fine music. Good on him. |

You'll be okay, Kev, if you stand on your head. Then you'll be right side up. |
