I got kicked out of one of my bands today. First time I've ever been kicked out of a band. Their reason: they thought I didn't have enough time for the band because I skipped a few rehearsals a couple of months ago. I'm not buying that... I think they thought I had too much of an own opinion (the drummer and lead singer pretty much run the band and want everyone else to do what they tell them to do) or that I'm not "cool" enough...

Worst thing is that this band was still in the rehearsal stage. We'd been working on songs for the past 8-9 months or so, and we hadn't recorded anything or played live yet. Thing is, I've always seen rehearsing as an investment (I hate rehearsing) and playing live and recording records as the reward for that investment. So basically this means 3/4 year of investing and not getting a reward for it.

World Geography is stupid now. Mainly because I was paired with this girl to make some fake newspaper article based on the Aztecs. I was supposed to do 2 articles and a political cartoon. I get those done and I give it to my partner to paste onto the poster board. She points out that she wrote her own article, and then she wrinkled her nose at my cartoon! I was irritated inside! I worked all night on those articles, dammit! The cartoon also. (I drew Montezuma being a prisoner to Hernando Cortez, like she told me to. Bleh.  >:( )

Ugh, I hate those type of people. Just ignore them! And from the looks of your Beatles drawings, your cartoon was probably epic. My (ex) Best friend was like that all the time! There's a reason she's my ex BFF
