Sadly, no; it looks like this will be a Paul-only year for me. The day that Ringo's concert comes to my neighborhood is the day I'll be seeing William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy at a Star Trek convention. ha2ha

But I can't imagine seeing both Ringo and Paul in a year, too cool!

I can't believe that I have to be very busy on the day Ringo is right around my city. :(

I feel guilty. It's completely wasted on me. The worst part is, they want me to hang it in the classroom!! No way! I guess I'll have to though. At least for a little while. Again, I love this group of parents.

Apparently, according to breaking news, we just had an earthquake about 8 minutes ago. I didn't feel a thing. Weird. Probably thought a truck was going by or something.

Not sure what you mean.  The strap buttons on a Hofner are in the neck block beneath the heel of the neck and in the end block of the body...

I'm not sure why he attached the strap to the headstock for Revolution, Sondra.  It puts stress on the neck.

The guitar feels a bit lighter when the strap is attached to the headstock and supported by the shoulders.  Maybe he was more comfortable that way early on.

I had a lovely day:

-Wore my favourite t-shirt fresh out of the laundry
-Went down the boardwalk and read Peyton Place while drinking a delicious smoothie
-Was extremely productive at work today, so much so that I'll probably be able to get off early tomorrow so I can go to '60s night at a local pub
-And on top of that I've lost 15 pounds.

I thought I had it made until I saw Sondra's bass. Woman, you must be a hell of a teacher. But that comes as no surprise to me.

With an acoustic guitar, it's easier to swing the guitar out and play in the classical style.  John's doing that here...
