I was trying to get to water polo the other day on my bike and i went all around arlinton heights ( not the one in texas) and i drove like 30 miles and when i got there i was late :0 but today i found a short cut and got in on time XD .
As for the driving age, I think it should be based on the results of extensive testing to determine one's maturity, not a chronological age. That would take about half the drivers off the road and the rest of us could breathe a sigh of relief!
