If she's free on Friday we're going to get coffee during her lunch break and Paul McCartney is playing at the Royal Albert Hall next month and IF she doesn't have any conflicts, I'm going to get us two tickets when they go on sale Friday

Tell her that you think she is really special. If she feels the same way, she just might tell you that she thinks the same. Don't be afraid to express your feelings. Just make sure that you express that it is your feelings. If she doesn't express herself in return that will tell you how she feels. It takes a mature person to express their feelings. It is so "high school" to play games. It is one thing being shy and another just holding your feelings back. Just always respect the feelings of the other person.

Well I don't want to rush into anything since we don't really know each other that well yet. We met up yesterday and had a very good time. The connection was/is there so I am going to take it slow. I'll probably tell her over coffee that I think she's brilliant.

Yes I certainly hope so. She has to see if she has enough money to pay for the ticket since she said there is no way she is letting me pay for her ticket even though I said don't worry about it.

Sorry I haven't been able to help with this! I've been out of the formal workforce for a long time, freelancing at home. My first impulse would be to say, get a full-time job in your study area, but perhaps younger forum members have a different, more recent, opinion.
