If you could meet John, Paul, George, or Richard right now, who would it be? And if you could only ask him one question what would you ask him? I would pick John, but i have no idea what i would ask him, I put alot of thought into it, but cant think of anything.

George seems the coolest.......and Ringo and Paul would be nice........and John's my favorite.....

How about all of them backstage in a special multidimension/afterlife reunion concert?

I'd like to meet George, even though he's not my favourite Beatle, I'd just like to chat with him. We could talk philosophy.

The thing is that he has written so many that some of the best are still unreleased ... and some of the worst too  ;D ... so probably there would be some other songs he would say instead ... after all, he wanted Maxwell's Silver Hammer to be a single  8) ... I suppose he liked it a lot! (there are some covers of it ... it can't be said about others guy tracks)  ;)

I just think RAXO that if he`d written something else instead that and proberlely octopuss were not on ABBEY ROAD it could had been the greatest album of all time,as much as its a masterpiece now

Oh, I was not thinking only about that period but about all the songs he wrote in the 60s  :B ...

... but talking about Abbey Road alternate tracklists: one thing I've always wonder it's why he decided to give away Come And Get It when he knew the others didn't want Maxwell's Silver Hammer as a single  ??) ... they have said that they already knew they were making a great album by then so, why not to improve it?...

I'm sure that he would have had "a chance" with Come And Get It (he said to the then-called The Iveys that it was going to be define-telly a great hit) ... and I don't understand why some people say that it wouldn't have fitted, after all, we have several styles and 'productions' in the album: Come Together and I Want You (She's So Heavy) are not very far from Come And Get It  8) ...

And if they were re-recording songs from their Get Back project period why not some other's Paul's songs like Another Day or some others? ... but if he decided to record Maxwell's Silver Hammer, I'm sure that he liked it a lot ... I don't think he would regret writing it ... possibly some of the ones they gave away in early 60s to others artists (if there would be any) :-/...

Finalley, I've to say that I like Maxwell's Silver Hammer (John's version is amu-sing  ;D) ... and, of course, I love Octopus's Garden but I'm glad if people don't like it so much, it's funny!  :)

A fair point RAXO .When i heard ABBEY RD which was a very very long time ago i couldnt criticise a song on it , its just as you get older you get picky about what you listen to and i tend to skip MAXWELL and OCTOPUSS .
As for COME AND GET IT great song i have BADFINGER version they`ve must have jumped for joy when MACCA  gave them that song :)
