Conflagration of gas pipeline near Ukhta

Today at 18:05 at Moscow time I was an eye-witness of conflagration of gas pipeline Russia-Europe near (about 20 kilometers / 12.5 miles or some more) Ukhta. It was a tremendous sight! It was dark, gradually the sky started to clear up. In about 10 seconds a thunder began, lowder and lowder. It that time I thought something like the end of the world came. The glassess in houses were tremble and cars' signallings worked. The fire was about 1 kilometer high! I see all the fire during 30 minutes. Then the gas burned down.

Yeah, it was really amazing!
And for the first couple of minutes it was frightful - when you see how the sky is growing light and don't know what's happening. After a half-minute you hear a thunder. So the ground is shaking during next minute... Then you get used to it and just gaze at it :) Thankfully nobody suffered.
