ive never been able to get into any of the indiana movies, have no idea why because i watch a lot of movies and have watched soem bad movies in my time.
To my mind, the Lucas / Spielberg special effects movies all have the same problems: they're loose and episodic, lack dramatic development or credible characters, and rely on gadgetry, stunts, special effects, and sheer whimsy to hold the audience's interest. Up to a point, they're fun to watch, but that point is your twelfth birthday.
