Paul's Best Song on Revolver
« on: November 07, 2004, 10:23:40 PM »

For the heck of it, I decided to put this poll up too even though I said that I was only gonna put up 3 more polls.  This ends their touring days.

Vote away :)

Brutal choice, but had to go with Eleanor Rigby.

I SO went with "Here, There, and Everywhere" because- as I stated in another thread- it is tied with "Let it Be" as my fave Paul song. I think "For No One" is beautiful, but HT&E just wins out at the end because of its endearing melody. I think the lyrics are OK and FNO actually has better lyrics, but his voice and the music and the melody are Paul at his very best.

I've voted for "Godd day sunshine". I know it is a song generally overrated, but I like it more than Ye4sterday, elweanor Rigby and the rest. I'm not saying it is the BEST Paul's song, but it is the one I like most.

I voted for "Here, There and Everywhere," but really, all of the songs here are classics, and I could have just as easily voted for any one of them.  Very tough choice.  I would say that Revolver would be Paul's best output for songwriting (no clunkers in the mix).
