I've always been confused that "And I Love Her" was even on the Blue Album......but I guess that's because they happened to release it as a single in the US and it did well.....I've never really been too fond of the song....I loved all of their early stuff really, except four songs from the AHDN film and "Dizzie Miss Lizzie"....maybe they were just a bit tired at times so they were rushed in making songs for that film......and all of the touring led to the covers on BFS, no?

idk what it is but i loooooove something so much. it's the best song, it's so pretty, especially after the big guitar solo and then they all harmonize on "something in the way she moves..." ahhh, i love it! i don't like "and i love her" really

None of them are actually my favourite love songs, but since I never quite warmed up to
Something
(I can't help it!) I have to go with
And I love her
....

I think
And I Love Her
is very good, but
Something
is one of my favorite Beatles songs ever.

Tough call! Both endear the heart. It was remarked by Frank Sinatra that 'Something' was the best love song of the 20th century...Not a bad plug for mr. Harrison there.
I think Something is more ambitious and mature arrangement. And I Love Her is just a simple and beautiful song....Infact I say simple theres some lovely subtle bass changes in that tune ....and the key change.
What can I say? Still undecided, both great songs!

Paul's concert version of something on ukelele was respectful, outstanding and emotional. Glad to have experienced it live.
