The free concert at Altamont Speedway back in 69 with the Jefferson Airplane, CSN&Y, the Flying Buritto Bros. & the Stones has been blown way out of proportion by the 60's youth generation looking back on it for almost 40 years now like it was some apocalyptic event because of the violence with the Hell's Angels & the classic Stones concert documentary Gimme Shelter in the name of 60's pop culture when it was just a bad day at a rock show, nothing more, nothing less, since it has happened at rock shows before & after Altamont!
