Josh Groban
« on: November 18, 2008, 11:18:36 PM »

Yes, yet another thread from me. D:
For an unappreciated artist. ^^
I did a search, and he doesn't appear to be on here.~

So... Who likes Josh Groban?
Who hates him? D:
Who ADORES him? ...*Raises hand.*
He's my favourite solo artist of all time. ^^

I discovered him at the 2006 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV!! ^^
This year, it'll be two wonderful years as one of his fans known as "Grobanites".~
The first song I ever heard by him was "You Raise Me Up," of course, as it is a wildly popular song, but knowing Mr. Groban sang it isn't so wildly known. D:

But anyways. I had no clue that was Mr. Groban until 2007.~
In 2006, on Thanksgiving, he sang "You Are Loved". And I was stunned.
Unfortunately, my mom had changed the channel before I could record the program, so I lost it, not catching his name. BUT! Luckily, I had found a music video online with his amazing song, "February Song" and I realized it was Josh!!

What's your story? =3

Is it strange that I have never ever heard of Josh Groban before? Is he just famous in Montana or something? Or in Europe as well?

His adorable peanut joke. XD

He's incredibly funny, despite that cheesy joke there. X3 But his songs make him seem so serious.
He sings in a ton of languages!! He isn't fluent in any language except for English, but he sings in English, Italian, Spanish, Latin (I think. X3), and he can speak Japanese.~ ^^
Italian is his best, I think. =3

Pictures! ;D

Oceano is my favourite by him. It's in Italian. =3

He's had classical voice training, but he hates it when people call his music classical. XD

Aww. D: Poor Josh.~

Well, to each their own. ^^

He's cute.

I like his voice, but I can only take his music in small doses. I'd be interested in hearing his Christmas album, though.
