When you say "Shazam!" instead of something like "Boyah!" or "Hell yeah!". :D

When you hear Beatles in school and start to sing along, while all the others (+ friends) watch you freak out. :3

You know you're a Beatles fan when for an assignment, you have to write and record three songs in three completely different popular musical styles, and you want to do a Beatles-esque 50's/60's pop song for one of them.  You go to your tutor and ask "do you think I could do a 50's/60's genre, or would the markers deem it not current enough?" and he replies "what style do you mean?" and you reply "a pop ballad, like in the style of Buddy Holly, or Everly Brothers, or..."  And then he gets a knowing look in his eye and asks "or possibly The Beatles?" to which the pair of you burst out laughing and he comments "I swear you were born in the wrong era!"   ha2ha

When your Tumblr dashboard isn't filled with Beatles and you are on the verge of tears.

You know you're a fan when you send your friends scrambled drunk texts with the only decipherable word being "Beatles".

Not sure if this one has been mentioned (this is a long thread!), but....you know you're a fan when you get really, truly outraged when someone insults the Beatles. A few days ago someone in a different, non-music forum happened to mentioned that the Beatles sounded like "nails on a chalkboard." WTF? I was so mad. (This person has obviously never heard "Because.")

I mentioned this briefly in the "Irks" thread in a separate area of this forum, and I have to say, I am still steaming! I can understand -- sort of (not really) -- someone not caring for Beatles music, but comparing them to "nails on a chalkboard" really, REALLY ticks me off.  >:(

I had a similar situation, Normandie... One of the junior rabbis a while ago insulted the Beatles while talking to me. Good thing that rabbi left! Really annoys me too when people say what they dont mean, so to speak

Normandie and Kaleidescope, I agree totally. Yes, everyone has a right to their own opinions but to me, its like having a member of the family insulted. Especially when you feel they haven't really given the music a chance. I don't expect everyone to get every song but the band evolved so much and did so many different things that I find it hard to believe there isn't something for everyone in their catalogue.

You know you're a Beatles fan when your boyfriend suddenly huffs and rolls his eyes, exclaiming "you've got me calling him 'Georgie' now!"  :D

Lucky. My husband-to-be (as I call him) wants to take me to one but we're out of luck for that where I live.

You know you're a Beatles fan when you're sitting on the bus, eager to get home, and as the traffic lights change, your brain jumps to the temple trap in Help! and you say to yourself "red light...  green light, GO!"  :P

A duplex!  You all are really making progress.  I guess they had to do that, not having any TV out there.  Are they side-by-side or back-to-back?
