To me, he has a bit of cult following and I see him associated often to McCartney's finger picking technique. I had a period waaaay back with some hippies who worshipped him and enjoyed some of the nonsense lyrics like 'Intergalactic something will get you from here to mars.' I think Mellow Yellow was quite a big hit and used in a commercial once. I'm aware he's there as such but not really a fan. He represented an era. Didn;t dig him much when he played the Isle of Wight festival a few years ago.

Atlantis by Donovan was pretty good in the movie Goodfellas  ;yes - it is kind of long

Sunshine Superman is a real hit - jimmy page plays guitar on it
Season of the Witch isn't bad but also a long one
(^^ both pretty psychedelic for 1966)
folk meets rock meets psychedelia . . the missing link ! lol

Joan was pals with the Beatles! But in any case, they would have agreed with me that my roommate has absolutely awful taste in music. I'm no snob. I love me some Lady Gaga, but there are limits. I mean... Shawn Desman? This is what she actually listens to. Not when she's drunk, not for laughs, but she actually consideres this good music:
