Gee that's funny since some of the highest selling acts in Europe over the years have been Robbie Williams, The Spice Girls and Westlife.  Both sides of the atlantic have their share of dung stinking up the charts.

AND Madonna's not even on our list. Which is a major plus. Anyway, get your facts straight before you insult. I think the list that was previously posted were WORLD sales. So I guess we're not the only country that listens to crap occasionaly.

Soundscan only counts American sales of albums.  For example, Moby's Play album sold 10 million copies worldwide but only 2.6 million in the States.  I really wish there was a chart that compiled total world sales of albums.

The numbers I posted are from the RIAA website, so that means Anthology 1 sold 8 millions only in the States
