The White Album, Abbey Road & Let It Be are my three favorite Beatles albums from my favorite era of the band during the late 60's because they are more hard edge rock than pop or psychedelic like their previous ones.
interesting........  what about Paperback Writer?  I'd say that was slightly ahead of it's time in terms of hard edged rock, as opposed to pop.

the Beatles were artsy fartsy from the onset. they only did 'Pop' at first by accident. and then, for the red green blue electric dollar.

I don't think they made a bad record ever. it was all good. And it got better with time. Not too many singing groups or bands can say that.
:o Let It Be is way better than their early albums. I vote for Sgt. Pepper's, The White Album, and Abbey Road. I don't have TWA and AR yet, but I have MP3's of Abbey Road and I've heard The White Album. :) I haven't heard much of Rubber Soul and Revolver yet.
Let it Be is better than their earlier stuff?

Ok.....well, there's no need to be insulting. So, I won't be.  Perhaps a little condescening will suffice :)

You OBVIOUSLY have not listened to enough of the earlier work to form this opinion.

I suggest you climb into the 'WayBack' machine and give a listen to about a bazillion great songs from 1963 thru 1966.

That's enough for now. Please submit a book report on that 3 year period of time.

Class dimissed ;)

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour and The White Album are the best for me.

I really like the White Album, I like all of them a lot, so I agree Number 14, it is hard to choose.

The Beatles "Second Lp" because it showed the world that these guys were not just "Lucky" They were talented! Revolver because it was a huge step forward in both song recording, structure and established the Beatles as the most visionary group in the world! Sgt. Pepper because it got the attention of both teens, parents, classical musicians and the music world in general! It was the first time the word "art form" was used to describe a pop lp! Sgt. Pepper validated "POP" as a serious form of music. The cover and what was inside it revolutionized the music buisness!

thought this was a cool poll.

I voted Revolver, White, and Rubber Soul.

Is the Abbey Road having 0 votes a mistake? I could ahve sworn it was the favorite of many members.

I chose Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, and Abbey Road.  It's a really hard choice, though.

Surely Abbey Road has to have more than five people's votes.

But for me, Rubber Soul is the top Beatles album.  Abbey Road and Revolver are right behind.
