'And Your Bird Can Sing' is a decent choice, but I would have went with 'And I Love Her' or 'Nowhere Man' instead.

One of my favorite solos ever, although fairly short, is from Trevor Rabin on the song 'Shoot High Aim Low' off of Big Generator from YES.

i think that list is pretty decent...my 3 favorite solos are in the top 5 (stairway, comfortably numb and eruption...)

I thought it was Lennon doing the distorted guitar solo on Let it Be. At least the Let it be album version anyway. Isn't he also doing the cool distorted guitar in Revolution? Hey, whay isn't JOhn on this list!!! ;D

He does play some great lead work.
And he is in the Beatles, making the songs the most widely listened to..

Right! I know he plays rythm, but he does do lead every now and then. Like on the songs I mentioned. But really I was joking. Although I think he's pretty good, I don't think he's up there with Clapton and Gilmour!

Well, I wouldn't say Lennon should be at the top etc etc, but he does some pretty good lead work.
Its not always on complexity, when judging a guitar solo.
