Found this book by Rob Sheffield in the library catalogue.
Great read about how the Beatles are still so popular and it’s funny too as the author injects his life as a fan. It’s not a chronological look at their career but has random chapters about different things. Rob adds in little lines from songs into his prose too. I actually learned some new stuff and I’ve read a 1000 Beatle books - give or take a few
- for instance during a gig in the US in 64 or 65 Brian went into the crowd and screamed along with all the girls instead of watching backstage.
Anyway a top book that invokes all the emotion and feeling we have for the Fabs
