Paul was always taking a decent song and making it a whole lot better, imagine Rain without his bassline and just basic root notes ? wouldnt be much of a song, same could be said for something,Nowhere man without the bass runs, hey bulldog would be pretty mediocre without his contribution.
i think that was the one thing that made him stand above the others in the band musically, he wrote great songs and he also had the ability to turn his bandmates songs from an averege tune into a memorable classic, something that wasn't often returned or needed


Exactly.  The poor guy's been maligned for years by people who know nothing about anything.

A video on YouTube of an audio track containing in-studio recording of "I Want To Hold Your Hand" is giving a lot of people who visit its page the idea or adding to the idea that Paul is a dictator.

paul was always known as a workaholic,and a hard taskmaster...every band needs one,trust me.unfortunately these people have a tendancy to annoy others-this is what ultimately happened-maybe long before the likes of let it be,etc.....there are many stories of pauls' pushiness,with the beatles,and with wings and indeed solo.but people can get things like pushiness and ambition mixed up.
