The Beatles and their pets
« on: April 23, 2009, 07:54:22 PM »

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see if anybody had any good pictures of the lads with their pets or favorite animals?
I found a few of George and John with cats, I know that George had a lot of cats but is there anything else out there? Thanks :)

Well, this is Ringo and a dog. Dunno if it's his, though.

Maybe the same dog? It looks like the same dog, so it's probably his dog. I love Ringo's purple trousers!

Paul had a dog named Martha

Great thread, mysweetgeorge!  Great name too!  Welcome to the forum.

Paul certainly had the most notable pet.....Martha.  I like sheepdogs myself.

Somewhere on YouTube is a clip of Mary Hopkin singing a Welsh folk song in Paul's garden.  Martha absolutely stole the show!

^ aw how sweet! Beautiful song too

Ringo does have a dog , called Buster? But then I do recall him having a pet called Tiger (unless I am terribly mistaken)

There is a picture of Ringo's dog at Ringo's computer...

It's a pic from John's "Imagine" album.  Supposedly he is making fun of Paul's pose on his "Ram" album... :o

Pretty cheeky of John, huh?  Probably just jealous of Paul's successful album sales.

All you have to do is sing the famous Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" from the famous Ninth Symphony in D Minor.

I guess that's what made John special--his keen sense of humor.  I kind of gasped when I first saw the pig pic, though...I was like, "Oh my God, is John doing what I think he's doing?!"  Mocking Paul's studly farmboy pose and all.  Tsk, tsk. ;D :B

He's also quite fluffy ;D Anybody knows what kind of dog he is?

By the way, here's another George-and-kitty pic, to add to mysweetgeorge's collection (grin)

And here's George and doggie

Paulie and... his pet wallaby Paullaby ;D

And little John and doggie... I think it is actually his doggie...

Hahahaha, HG ;D But you know, I think Ringo liked the tiger and got the hang of whistling Beethoven, coz he went and got himself a pet lion (I think it might work for lions too (lol) )
