I had a great day yesterday. My friend and I went out for a really belated birthday thing for me. We had dinner, then went shopping, then we saw our friend's band play at a club. I stupidly forgot my earplugs so my ears hurt after a while

but I had a good time.

So tired!! Long past couple of days... I've worked all weekend, wrote up basically an entire lab report, moved into the new house, gone out with the friends and boyfriend, and gone to the grandparent's place! I'm actually ready for bed right now but I still need to format the damned report! Gotta love when the lab component of a course is worth 60% (12% per lab)... Ever have that lovely experience HG? lol

^ Mine's for an ecology course. The grade's worth is proportional to the amount of work needed, but it was more of a did you ever have a ridiculously amount of work (full lab report every two weeks...) during your undergrad?

Yeah, I'm actually really interested in it. I should email my prof, she's looking for people to go and volunteer on her research over the summer, the only thing is, it's 6 weeks that I could be working here... What kind of ecology did you study (population, conservation?)?

Mairi, when I took English Literature in college, I had a major crush on my professor, Dr. O'Brien. She was really cute. Anyway, she called on me to recite some Chaucer Canterbury Tales. I inserted a few verses of Jabberwocky. She gave me a big smile then turned serious and said: "Just stick to Chaucer, OK?"
