I've always thought this was a really neat song. And they still sounded great doing it 37 years later.

But Windows 7 has rewarded me by making my volume and power icons disappear. I hope they come back after a restart. Otherwise I have to go into the registry to fix this. Blech.

I'm not sure what power icon you're talking about, Kelley.  I have one in the taskbar for my APC UPS, but to get your volume control back in the taskbar...

•Click Start and then Control Panel.
•Double-click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon.
•Select the Show volume control on the taskbar checkbox and, then, click OK.

Or, Kelley, you can click on the double ^ icon in you taskbar, click on Customize, and re-enable the volume and power (I guess you're using a laptop) the icons and notifications in your taskbar.  You needn't mess with regedit.

Thanks for taking the time to help me Barry.  :) They actually came back after a restart. I've had this happen before. The second method you mentioned showed that they were both set to display the icons. Then I found an area of the control panel where you can turn system icons on or off. They were both off but also grayed out. That was the problem. That's when I just restarted it. Last time I ended up downloading a registry hack and that fixed it. But that's a last resort! This was the ghost in the machine coming out to play.

Ian would always end his set with That'll Never Happen No More, Kelley.  It's an upbeat blues piece and he wanted his audience to leave happy.

He often started his set with Bourrée in E minor by Johann Sebastian Bach...
