I enjoy it a great deal when watching it....but does anyone else have trouble putting this DVD in? And what do you think about the two separate films? I really like the full concert, while the movie version just feels like a useless watered down version....and was anyone else disappointed by the extra features? Yeah, there's enough about the concert itself....but it would have been cool to have a few of George's videos....or a video timeline.....or even some home video footage of him....instead, everything seems focused on the concert event itself rather than Mr. Harrison....

I watched it on TV and taped it - I thought it was just amazing how so many people's love for George was captured in the concert and it gave me a peaceful, warm feeling :)

It really felt good watching all those people that love him pay their tribute -  it was beautifully done. The presence of Tom Hanks confused me a bit, but otherwise a lovely concert.

I love it.  It made me cry, and I'm not ashamed to admit that.  He will truly be missed.  The outpouring of emotion on that night was amazing, an excellent tribute to this remarkable man.

I absolutely LOVED this concert. I have no use for the "watered-down" theatrical version; I always watch the full concert.

Funny thing is, I'm a Beatles/Solo completist, yet I didn't rush out to get this right away. I was disappointed by a lot of these so-called "tributes" and didn't think the George one would be so great. But I kept hearing how EXCELLENT this show was and I could no longer resist. It WAS great! The best thing about it was that you had people who were really friends of George involved, unlike inappropriate "performers" like Kevin Spacey or 50 Cent.

Everyone was in top form. This may well be the last great "superstar" tribute show.

It's bound to be a classic.

Ravi Shankar's "Arpan" was beautiful, and I've never seen Eric Clapton play with as much passion as he played the solo to "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

I think it was a great film. Appearances with Paul and Ringo and of course Clapton. What I loved most about the dvd is that they played the songs the way George recorded them. And even though at times it seems like there are 10 or more people on stage the songs sounded perfect and not overdone. 7and1/2 stars out of 10

The concert was great. All the songs were performed excellently and I wanted to cry at the end. What a wonderful tribute to such a wonderful man.

And I can't believe how much Dhani looks like his father!  I liked Olivia's comment before "I'll See You in my Dreams" that with Dhani onstage, it looked like George stayed young and everyone else got old. lol.

I think this might be from the back of the DVD but I love it:

"Now we know how many souls it takes to fill the Albert Hall.  One"
We'll miss you, George

I got the DVD concert off me mate for me birthday.
Have to say I was impressed with the show, and felt there was alot of emotion between musicians.
Eric was on top form, and Pauls performance of Something is just fantastic.
I wasnt keen on Petty's Taxman, but I need you is alot better.

I feel personally that Billy Preston steals the show, what a great man!
Look out for Klaus Voorman on Bass!

Isnt it a Pity....a true Harrison Classic.

exactly Indica :)  Well put.  I hated Petty's Taxman "Nya I'm theya tyyyaaaxxmmmyyaaann"  Yuck.  Preston however, was stunning.  His vocals on My Sweet Lord are amazing.  I found myself wondering where John Cleese was too.  The final songs are amazing and very heartfelt, as is the whole show.
