Hello:  Wow, great video!  I'm starting to like the song more and more.  The only thing missing (it seems) was a certain harp-like interlude from the original.  I'll have to play this again to see if I missed it somehow.

Loco, the droning of a tambura was most obviously missing.  But they performed well as a quartet.

Tambura (Tanpura)...

I think Sergeant Pepper would be missing a vital piece without "Within You, Without You". It's the deepest statement on the album and incredibly original.
(Also can't imagine With The Beatles without "Don't Bother Me.")

I’d agree on both counts.  I’ve come to really like WYWY despite it being skipperish in my younger days. And it does add to that whole vibe of the era that Pepper reflects.

And Don’t Bother Me is cool. A pretty good first effort (at least that made it to recording)

Probably. Can’t say I’ve seen it in any dictionaries.

I've been skimming through this thread after reading a bit about George. I've usually skipped WYWY in the past—I'm not a fan of the sitar sound—but lately, and especially after reading more about the background of the song, I've been gaining more of an appreciation for it. And as LocoMo pointed out, wow, hard to believe George was just 24 when he wrote it.

(Skipperishha2ha Love it.)

Every time I'm reminded of their ages at different points in their progression it blows my mind
