a stage manager at the cavern,he booked shows...all the mesery bands probally crossed his path...he grew up in lodge lane in liverpool.....he played a guitar and sang in a band too....back then everybody was in country and western music,so every boy went and got a guitar,it says wes got his in 1955...b4 tony??maybe....it also says he couldn't play too well so he sang....
