No kids?
« on: June 03, 2005, 11:27:30 PM »

I know that George and Pattie Boyd didn't have any kids, but I was just wondering why. I know she was a model and he was busy with his career, but I remember reading something saying that she couldn't have any children. Can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks.

Yeah, that's right, she couldn't have kids. George used to cover up for her and say that it was his fault, but now that we have Dhani we know better.

No, that's not necessarily so.  Patti may well have had problems (no eggs, blocked fallopian tubes, etc). But it's also possible her body may have rejected George's sperm cells. In some couples it seems that although both are fertile, there is a response (akin to an allergic response) of the woman to the man's sperm, preventing fertilization.

However, Patti's marriage to Eric Clapton was also childless. This doesn't prove that it was Patti that had the problem - but it seems more likely than not.

She's been with another guy for quite a while, though, and she hasn't had any children to my knowledge.

I've heard of people deemed infertile who end up having a child, maybe that's what happened with George?

But it seems Patti was probably the infertile one.

It worked for Sara and Abraham. They just had to be patient and trust in Jehovah.

I read on a website that she didn't really talk about this, so we can't be sure if she didn't want to have kids, or she couldn't get pregnant.

If you read from the start of the story, you'll find Abraham was'nt as patient as Sara was.
