McDonalds Is Overrated, Showmars Is The Best.

McDonalds is overrated as a fast food restaurant in more ways than one because their burgers aren't too big & they're too plain personally speaking but pretty good.  I never ate there that much as a kid since Hardees was my favorite but it's been downhill lately as well sadly. I like their fries as well along with their Big Breakfast & Egg Mcmuffins which is what makes McD's worth going to for the most part.  Wendys & Showmars are the best fast food restaurants around compared to McDonald's & if you have never heard of the latter it's mostly in NC with great hambrugers, pita burgers & fish plates.

I cant speak on America's behalf, but Fast Food in England is on the slippery (and thank god) road to nowhere. With obesity scares being pushed into the publics faces and purposely cartoon like links to America (dont take that the wrong way) I think it actualy got to us, and so the fashion has changed from a Big Mac, to a Ciabatta Bread.

McDonalds, Burger King, and Wendys are all nasty. Actually, all fast food joints are pretty bad. If I had to eat at one i'd probably eat at 'Steak-N-Shake' or 'Sonics'. 'Hardees' would probably be next as they've tried very hard to bring their menus back up to speed with their big burgers and service. It is a big step up. Lastly, our local 'Dairy Queen' rocks too.

I love how all these fast food places are adding these healthy choices. I wonder if anyone gets that stuff? I mean what's the appeal of a fast food place in the first place? A greasy, cholesterol filled meatlike substance on a mushy bun with salt drenched fries on the side to clog up your arteries right? And btw, we have ciabatta bread here too now. You can get it at Jack in the Box filled with melted cheese and some rubber piece of chicken. Yeah, we're just as classy as you English blokes!!  ::)

I'm not much for McDonalds, really. >_> Once in a while. I'm more of a Taco Bell person. Ahh, fast food. Can't yeh feel the arteries clogging, all the fab health benefits?

Okay. I'm being a bit hypocritical, because I love French...er...Freedom fries. What was with that whole "Freedom Fries" thing anyway? >_<

France wouldnt back us with the war (shocking) so the US didnt want anything to do with French/France etc,,. I have never been to a place that has their fries referenced with 'freedom' though, so I dont think it was a big deal.

i prefer taco bell, but their zesty chicken border bowl is not made to order!!!!

it's this whole nationalism thing that many people are into. during WWI sauerkraut was "liberty cabbage."

In N Out Burger rules. If I had to go to a fast food place that's the one I'd go to. Except it's not so fast. Those lines ALWAYS go around the block. But it's worth it if you're in the mood for an excellent burger! Plus their theme song is very catchy. In N Out, In N Out, that's what a hamburger's all about!! ;D

I prefer to imagine my Englishmen looking like Jude Law. Although Hugh Grant will do!  ;) Anyway, the ultimate Englishman is Paul McCartney. And we know he's a one of a kind!

I'm a sucker for any guy with an English accent. It's the sexiest accent of them all.

I think it's bigger here in Canada. It's great 'cause it's got a cool retro-60s vibe. And all their food is just really good. They don't process the hell out of it like they do in McDonald's.

Yup the English accent and the Scottish accent like Ewan McGregor or Sean Connery. The Irish accent is sexy too. Bono and that little guy that's real big right now. What the heck! Now I can't think of his name!!

Scottish accents are great, but I can't understand a lot of them! Like the Glasgonian accent or the Aberdeen accent!

Yeah, it depends on how FAST they talk! I remember that movie The Commitments. I swear they needed to have subtitles cuz I couldn't figure out half of what they were saying! (Was it Irish or Scottish?) Same with Trainspotting but not as bad. Ewan's accent I can understand. It's more watered down.
