Like Moog I've heard this song in the odd movie but I don't think it charted in the UK in the 60s so I  don't remember it being a classic,  maybe in their home country it was.
Not a bad song but I prefer Queens version  ha2ha

I remember watching that video for the first time in a Woodstock documentary. That was about 18 years ago, late at night. That live performance was the introduction of Jefferson Airplane to my life; and I loved the band since then.

It was a big hit in the US but no Jefferson Airplane single was a hit in the UK.

However albums were becoming more important and this song featured on their hit UK album Bless Its Pointed Little Head in 1969.

So for me it qualifies as a sixties classic.
