I would have been more than happy to mention them...if I knew their names. Did anyone see Elton and some little dude doing Children of the Revolution at Live 8. Made me miss T-Rex even more.

That little dude was Pete Docherty who used to be in The Libertines and is now in a so called band Babyshambles. He is dating our 'No. 1 supermodel' KAte Moss.

He really thinks he is the most outragous rebel on the planet, as if he invented it. God knows why he got the chance to appear on Live 8....He blew it!!!!!

Is he fake or genius people say....I say he's pants!!!!! lol

The tree where Marc died has been turned into a shrine - quite a touching place. I love his (their) singles, but the only album I've heard wasn't very impressive.

Elton should have just sung it himself. That guy was weak. Elton, as old as he is, would have kicked butt.

Kate Moss really annoys me for some reason. Jealousy I guess. That and the fact that I don't like the fashions she wears.

I pride myself on knowing alot of music info/trivia/etc., but T Rex is one band that I never got.  All you ever hear is what a huge influence they were, Marc Bolan in particular, and you only hear "Get It On", which isn't that impressive, and now totally annoying because you can only hear it so many millions of times before your brain explodes. I always thought it was another band/artist that got too much credit because they died young. No offense to the T Rexsters out there, I am admittedly  ignorant as to what their other material is, but if they were such a force, why is it that you only hear one song?

"Jeepster" is a great tune.  I originally heard it done by Alex Chilton.  Then got the T Rex version.  I've got the three-CD compilation.  Great stuff--especially the earlier stuff.

all you ever hear by Deep Purple is Smoke On Water, and sometimes you hear highway star and space truckin

thier all on Machine Head, the album that gets all the credit when thier really a great band, all because that annoying smoke on water song

I've never heard any song by TRex besides "Bang A Gong", maybe i should download some stuff on soulseek and see how good they really are
