I just saw that on the news, Kathy. It looks obnoxious, especially this early in the season. I haven’t forgotten my promise to share pictures of the Fall colors here. Unfortunately, as in the last few years, they seem disappointing, at least down here in the valley. They just seem dull and lacking in reds. Kyle took this picture up on one of the hills overlooking our town.




If you can zoom in on it is a little better. I cropped it but if you look at the original you can see why this is so dark.
 




I want to go up the to the nature center this weekend if the weather is good and hopefully I can get some more pictures.

We haven't had much rain the past two months.  As a result, leaves are drying up, turning brown and falling down.  Not much of a chance for vibrant fall foliage here in The Northeast this year.

It's gray and overcast here; yuck. I don't care for these kinds of days -- it's hard to get motivated to do much of anything other than read.

At least that awful blizzard is done and gone.

My ex was on a local TV panel with the governer, Army Corps of Engineer staff, etc., during the 2011 floods and used the phrase "Pacific decadal oscillations" (geek talk LOL). Even the governer had to interrup to chuckle and ask him to clarify.

We're still gray and overcast, and now we're expecting snow. Now that I'm clean, though, I have my usual abundance of energy back. It got lost a couple of years ago, but now even the weather can't keep me down. Of course, in January I'll probably be grousing about it again.  ;D
