Beatlemania’ Strikes Again - video
“The Cast of Beatlemania” holds annual show in North Hempstead

Always one of the biggest concert draws of the summer season, thousands of mop top fans gathered at Michael J. Tully Park in New Hyde Park on July 21 for what is now considered to be the annual British (Re) Invasion by the Faux Fab Foursome, otherwise known as the Cast of Beatlemania.

Lydney's Beatle-mania returns 50 years on

FIFTY years to the day that Beatle-mania descended on Lydney, a special concert celebrating the Fab Four's famous 1962 visit to the town was held on Friday.

Kalamazoo bands to play The Beatles 'Abbey Road,' 'Sgt. Peppers' albums on New Year's Eve at the State Theatre

It's interesting to see how one person can make a difference in so many lives. For anyone who have seen Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life, the idea is probably clear in your mind. As a person can act as a catalyst for others in daily life, like a conductor of sorts, so can a person conduct mass culture over the course of their career. Sir George Martin is the man with the golden ear.

The Beatles have topped the listeners-voted Labor Day 500 list compiled and played by WCBS-FM.

The Labor Day 500 has been a tradition on the station for many, many years and has seen the ebb and flow of artists and genres. In the early days of the tradition, early rock and doo wop favorites would be a regular part of the the top forty but, as time has passed, many of those have fallen by the wayside and have been replaced by newer sounds
