EMI Records has resigned Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and will finally start to release his solo career catalogue digitally.
The deal will also coincide with the reissues of his early catalogue, ringtones and DVD.
The announcement comes off the back of the recently announced Paul McCartney download deal.
"It's good to be back," said Ringo Starr. "It feels like home, just like Liverpool 8."
The deal will also include a new compilation album on CD, a compilation of Ringo's videos on DVD and Ringo ringtones.
The tracks will be available on August 28th.
