Just a thought, but I've recently noticed that, in conversation about certain topics, it can be quite difficult when you don't know where someone is coming from with regards to Beatles experience. Knowing the age, and the Country where you live can play a large part in this. Sometimes I don't know whether I'm talking to a 15 year old girl from Atlanta, or a 45 year old bloke from Liverpool! It can make a difference in how you approach someone's argument.

I know some people would prefer to keep that information to themselves, for whatever reason, and that's your right, but I do find it easier to know on what level to converse.

Anyone else feel the same, or shall I just shut up!

So does that mean you're going to dumb it down for us young folks?  :-/

No it doesn't! But sometimes a slightly different approach is warranted to a 14 year old new fan, verses a 50 year old lifelong fan. I just think it sometimes helps to know roughly the age group of the person you're conversing with.

And still, the person this thread was aimed at has not posted! ;)

Message to anyone else that posts here. Without spelling it out, the idea was really to put the info in your profile, not post it here.

I just upgraded the info in my profile, adding the country (silly me, I haven't thought that Sofia is not one of the best known worlds capitals  ;) )
But age and location are not always related to music experience. I think that the thread about how people got into Beatles gives better picture  :)

Quite a few Icelandics drink in my local. Shame they're all either Liverpool, or Man. United fans! ;)

That people watch is probably football(soccer), and play is football and handball(I think handball is a lame sport but it's very popular in Iceland)

It's very popular here too. Easily a close second to football. And Denmark actually seems to be pretty good at it too, unlike the football team!
