MMT and Yellow Sub will be combined. All the songs from the original UK release of Yellow Sub, plus the 6 songs from MMT double EP. With the addition of Hello Goodbye. Rain is on Past Masters. Everything will be covered.

The White album will be covered by 2 separate votes in the same week. One for each disc.

The list is here: http://www.dmbeatles.com/forums/b-games/m-1185686493/

If anyone can see a gaping whole let me know.

Yeah, sounds good to me!

Just do singles that were not album releases separatley from 1962-1966 and 1967-1970.  Two seperate votes to determine the singles or combine them if you wish.

1. 'I'm Only Sleeping'
2. 'Taxman'
3. 'She Said She Said'

W: 'Dr. Robert' (barely beating out 'Eleanor Rigby', which is a fine song, really, but too much of a downer for me)

This has been the biggest vote so far, and there's still 2 days left! It's tight at the top, with 2 songs tied for 1st place, and only 2 points separating 3rd, 4th, and 5th. So one voter can change it. Get voting if you haven't already. Voting closes at 12 noon GMT on Sunday.

Cheers Tony. I noticed that. I wasn't planning on doing 'Naked'. Btw, how are you doing your second phase? I was thinking that I'll take the 45 top scoring songs, plus the 3 highest scoring near misses, and seed them by the percentage of votes acumulated. And then have 4 groups of 12 to vote on.

Ooh so its a bit like the world cup then ;D

We're just goint to do a straight knock out for the second phase. Song v song if you like. The songs that are through will be allocated numbers and another member will give me random numbers via msn that correspond to each song (again like a football cup draw). then members will vote for 4 or maybe 6 matches at a time. We're doing the Anths and Love so not sure how many songs will make it through in total but will be using the highest 4th places to make the numbers even for a  knockout.

You're doing Anthology as well? Blimey, we'll be finished before you! I think I'll stick to only officially released songs up to 1970.

I think the way I'm doing it is a bit more like tennis. Where the 1st seed gets to play the 32nd, or whatever. Except that I'm putting them into album sized groups of 12.

Oh i like the seeding idea, thats a great way of keeping the best songs apart. Actually ive nicked your percentage idea for the best placed runners up idea and given you a mention

Yeah i wanted to keep it to the pre 1970 stuff but popular demand wanted the anths and love included. The compromise being that only the unreleased songs will be included not the outtakes or demos. so stuff like not guilty and free as a bird etc. I suppose it will be interesting to see if any of that unrealeased stuff can beat any of the official stuff in a head to head.

and wow just noticed your sig. thats really great thanks. could i trouble you to mail it to me please? thanks

No probs. Cheers!

I'm thinking about the Anthology stuff now. Stuff like 'In Spite Of All The Danger', and 'If You've Got Trouble' should be in there. I think I'll pass on 'Love' though.

EDIT: Now I'm beginning to have doubts. Songs like 'In Spite Of All The Danger' aren't really Beatles songs are they. What does everyone think?

I found it quite easy really. You wait until we get to Past Masters!

Btw, it looks like we're heading for our first tie-break, unless someone else votes. Oh the excitement ;)
