One of my favorite albums of all time is Physical Grafitti, but Led Zeppelin '1' is a good place to start. Zeppelin never put out any crap so any album will be decent (even Coda).

You have to learn how to walk before you can run. One for sure then two because it was a logical step musically for Led Zep and lastley three because they show their fans that they can deliver songs of an acoustic style with stunning results. You should really try to get these lps in order to appreciate the musical progression of the band.

CODA - some great songs,,,,'Ozone Baby' (one of my personal faves), 'Wearing and Tearing', 'Poor Tom' (cool drums), 'Bonzo's Montreux' (drums), 'I Can't Quit You Baby',,,,yeah, you need to get this.

Presence - my least favorite they did, but still a good album. 'Achilles Last Stand', 'Nobody's Fault But Mine', 'For Your Life',,,etc.

Its all good.

Come here big boy.

CODA does not reek as I mentioned above and 'In Through The Out Door' is a great album although they departed from their bluesy sound a little with more keyboards, but its still great. 'In The Evening', 'All Of My Love', 'Carasalambra' (sp? but one of my favorite tunes),,,,,,put your hearing aid in and give it another listen you stud you.

I really like In Through The Out Door especially south bound saurez and fool in the rain, may not be "classic" zeppelin but I like it none the less. The reviews I've read for CODA haven't been to great I may as well give it a go. It is only 10$

Your off to a good start. Listen to them in order and hear how they developed as a band with each album. All the different styles such as blues, reggae, rockabilly, etc.

Coda has one or two good songs. Darlene & Bonzos Montreux are my favs. These songs were leftovers from studio sessions but by no means bad. Just different. Get it to complete the collection. I highly recommend How The West Was Won if you haven't got that yet! Excellent if your a Led Head!

For some reason, In can never remember which title goes with which song. I finally got it in my head that the title D'yer Maker goes with the Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh song. And I love that song. I can sing every damn word. Where the title came from though is beyond me.
