As good as Piper, but I'm prejudiced.  I think the solo stuff is amazing.  Madcap Laughs: indispensable.  Barrett: Almost as Good.  Opel: Later compilation with some great things.

Ooohhh I LOVE Syd!!!!

Barrett is awesome! My dad's got that on vinyl, I love the song "Effervescing Elephant" it makes no sense at all, but I love it.

I love Syd Barrett. What a character. His music is VERY different. Nothing like it before or since. Not even post Syd Floyd sounds lilke him.

For some reason, certain guys just look so hot wearing eye liner.

It's really sad what happened to him. As his solo career went on, he got so bad that he couldn't really do the sessions any more.

It really stinks because he was very talented (and quite good looking).
