My mum loved Perry Como too. We had lots of records of his I recall. Great era for crooners.

Now the forecasters (specifically, my ex, who was interviewed for the local paper) are saying we may see up to a foot of snow on Thursday. Ugh.  icon_mad

But maybe he was lying. He does that so well.  ;D

Ha ha, yes; my complaints about blown weather forecasts now have a tinge of vindictiveness. The down side is, I don't get that extra insight into the forecast specifics.  ;D

It's been unbelievably pleasant here in North Dakota: mid- to high 40s and even some 50s (about 7 degrees Celsius, I believe).

Last year at this time we were encased in ice.

You'd never like it here when we hit 20 below (~29 C I believe), then, Kevin!  ;D  Add in the wind and it can get seriously cold up here. One time when the temps dipped to 40 below F the kids (instructed by their meteorologist father) had fun throwing cups of water into the air. The particles froze before they ever hit the ground. (I was inside, of course  ha2ha.)

Yes, indeed. That's the point at which it hurts to breathe. Fortunately, we only get those sorts of lows a handful of times each winter.  :)
