Oh my God.  Maybe it's because I don't like some puppets (especially ventriloquism dummies), but that is so creepy to me in a "Twilight Zone" sort of way.  :X

This is not exactly about the Wings club but I wish I had belonged to Paul's Club Sandwich.  I think I was too young to know about it back then.

"Twilight Zone" is about right. This sort of thing used to turn up occasionally in children's slots on Saturday morning television in Canada in the early seventies when I was a kid, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why they were bothering to transmit it. They probably just ran out of Road Runner cartoons.  ;D

Yeah, just now I realized that those freaky pigs remind me of two "Twilight Zone" episodes:  the one with the "living" dummy and the one with the pig-looking doctors.

I feel sorry for you guys.  This is terrible entertainment, LOL.   ;D  Even the Teletubbies and Barney are better!

I'll bet that's what they run now; that and more send-us-your-dollars pseudo-religious wingnuttery they can't fit in on Sunday.  ;D

Here are a few pictures from the March 1976 issue that I purchased from Ebay.

^ Look at how cheap everything was back then.

^ I find it interesting that a few different dates were originally planned but after Jimmy's accident, a few of those locations were cancelled for good.

Here's an interesting poem from the section "Listen to what the fans said" from the June/July 1977 issue.

Wings

Paul is great, he's a star
Better than most, better by far
His music is relaxing, his music is fine
That's why I listen all the time

Linda is great, she is fun
She's a great singer and mum
She is magic, she is sweet
Never off her feet, she's a treat

Denny is smart, Denny's fine
Denny plays his guitar dead on time
He can't sing straight from the start
He sings straight from his heart

Oor Jimmy's Braw, Jimmy's slick
Oor Jimmy's a Scot that will stick
He can handle any guitar
He shines like any star

Joe has a beat that goes down a treat
Joe keeps it fine, keeps the beat
He heaves his drums red hot
When other drummers would not.
