Yes. Thanks for this.

I've started listening and it's nice to hear from someone who was there at the time.

I listened to it. Was nice to hear his reminisces. It was good he didn’t try to invent memories. If he couldn’t remember, for instance his impressions of the Beatles as an act when they started in Hamburg, he said so.

Barry mentions the Heaven and Hell coffee bar in Soho.

Here's some interesting info.

Coffee bars were all the rage back in the day.

Heaven was on the ground floor and Hell was down the stairs ...

Barry also mentions the Oosterbeek Airborne cemetery near Arnhem.

On this site you can see that they were actually surrounded by gravestones where the famous photo was taken.

I was there a couple of years ago. You can see the graveyard in the back.

Great photo Bobber.

Lewisohn says they went here because they took a wrong road getting off the ferry.

But once they saw they were going near Arnhem, Allen Williams wanted to see the cemetery.

So it was half by chance and half intentional that they went there.

Incidentally, Lewisohn doesn't mention the Heaven and Hell coffee bar in London. He says they went to another one called Act One - Scene One.
