Beatle Encounters

Has anyone here ever had the good fortune to meet a Beatle live in person? If so, share your story here! I have never met a Beatle unfortunately, but my dad has, so I thought I'd share his encounter:

In the '70s, my dad was working in Scotland near Paul's farm. He was hitchhiking one day when a car pulled up and he got in. The man who was driving the car turned out to be Paul McCartney!
My dad says he didn't ask Paul any questions about his music because he didn't want to come off as a gushing fan. He just asked how he liked the area, the weather, etc.

lol!! wow no ive never encountered a beatle, but my uncles uncle used to play with them in the early days when they went round birmingham..he also played with sabbath!
