I read something on a website, and I don't know if it's credible, but it claims that Hamish Stuart sued McCartney for among other things, treating him shabbily, keeping him from a hair dresser appointment, and all sorts of silliness.

I've only found it on one website, and it just seems ridiculous.  Did it really happen?

I don't know. I do believe there were some arguments.

I'd be surprised if the lawsuit isn't just bull because HS's comments are prominent in the Flowers in the Dust deluxe book.  And I only found mention of it on one website--can't remember which one, but it seemed like one of those gossipy sites.  Maybe it was just a joke I didn't get.

I don’t know but my assistant teacher when I taught preschool was Sue McCarthy. She would laugh if she read this.

I hope the story is bull. I really liked the band during the Robbie Mc and Hamish S era. Macca has a great band now, but I prefer the band when those guys were in it. Seemed to have more heart in it, more soul.
