I think I still like 'Real Love' more than 'Free As A Bird' but there's no doubt that the first single was a real event when it came out.
That said, I much prefer the 'Baby It's You' EP, with a lead vocal from all four lads, from earlier in 1995!
I hated the 1980s with a passion, but the time when I finally washed my hands of anything to do with the present day was when the British public bought more copies of a truly dire Michael Jackson single (urgh) to stop the best thing that has ever happened to the country (i.e. The Beatles) getting to No. 1.
