Bend It Like Beckham
A movie about two English tomboys, one of them from Indian heritage, who want to become professional soccer players. This movie wants to be funny but doesn't try hard enough. Very lightweight movie, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it. Keira Knightley might have had something to do with that. Or a lot.

Honestly, I really like that movie. But I am a person that likes more lightweight movies, so that might say why ;)

We watched Napolien Dynamite in school. I never get tired of that movie.

Monster
Based on the true story of female serial killer Aileen Wuornos. Great movie, very impressive. Charlize Theron plays possibly the best role I've ever seen an actress play.

I watched most of this with my brother when it was on tv a few years back, it was good from what I remember. I'll have to rent it sometime soon and watch it all the way through.

You should, it's worth it. The protagonist is an unhealthy looking street-level prostitute, not exactly a very pleasant person and her crimes get increasingly unscrupulous, but while the movie doesn't particulary try to defend her or downplay her deeds, you never entirely stop sympathizing with her as a person. I thought that was quite remarkable.

I saw I Love You Phillip Morris lastnight, it was good!  :)
It does shove the gayness right into your face, but if it was more subtle, I don't think it would have been as good.  It had some unexpected twists in the story, and it kept you wondering right to the end, which is always a good thing.  It was pretty funny too.

I`ve seen Remember Me with Pattinson. The film is good but a bit unnatural. The guy is too sensitive and oversuffering. The end is far-fetched for a film like that. The title of the film does not correspond to the plot and the girl`s face in the end does not convey the idea of her remembering him. I don`t think I would like to see it again. The only character I really liked in the film is the little sister, one sympathizes with her so much!

I'm going to go see Green Zone (or as I like to call it Bourne 4) starring Matt Damon in a couple of hours. I'll report when I get home.

Oh yeah, I saw that one a couple weeks ago. I sort of forgot I even watched it until you mentioned it. My dad only took us to watch it because he can speak Arabic, which some of the characters in the film speak.

My review of Green Zone is short and to the point.

Jason Bourne goes from cia assassin to special forces chief warrant officer. The result is still the same and that is he kicks ass.

I have heard that there were too many special effects and that it was way too long...

I suppose I'll have to see for myself

Saw Nowhere Boy yester-night
I thought it was not your usual take on John's childhood life. It was quite good acting (even though Paul and George were not near similar to the real ones).
Also, I was quite surprised that it did not contain Mimi saying "you'll never make a living out of it" , and it did not even mention Cynthia.
What annoyed me though, is that whenever the word New Zealand was mentioned, the row infront of us laughed! I mean, this is a rather serious and sad movie, just becuase we are in NZ doesnt mean you have to laugh in the middle of the movie! Gosh!

Nice movie, I liked it

I saw Alice in Wonderland today.
I thought it was a pretty good film, the 3D was wild, I've never been to one before so that was something new!

We watched Mulan in class. It was made around the time when Disney was still funny and creative.
