Hell Fest. What a waste of time and money! My daughter and I went in not expecting much and were still disappointed. It was beyond stupid.

On the other hand, we got to see the Bohemian Rhapsody trailer on the big screen again.  ;)

I saw A Quiet Place the other day. Huge letdown. I think I bought into all the hype and was expecting something more.

Forget the monsters that can swoop in seconds on any sound, I couldn’t suspend disbelief that, in a world where being absolutely quiet is life or death, you’d let your four-year old boy wander around an abandoned shop BY HIMSELF, and then, when walking home, string out in a long line with him at the very back, where you can’t see him and you’re thirty metres away from him if something goes wrong.

Hereditary. It was really scary, but I couldn't really explain the plot if asked.  ???

Toni Collette was fantastic.

I was wondering how that was going to be. I was quite a Queen fan in my younger days. Welcome back!

I have been waiting for 8 years to see this movie, after I first read about it going into production. Unfortunately, one thing or another keeps coming up. Soon, I hope........North Dakota doesn't seem like a very Queen state, so I worry it's not going to run that long.

Oh, wow! I didn’t know about this. I’m so glad Dick Van Dyke is in it.

My daughter and I went to see Mary Poppins Returns. It was cute but it makes me want to watch the original. I hadn’t been to the theater here in 10 years. They have recliners now!

Our theater does, too! I was pleasantly surprised. I joked to my daughter I could probably doze off (if a movie were boring) and they wouldn't find me 'til hours later.  ;D

My days of going to the movie theatre are over, its dark, the seat is comfy, after about 30 minutes Im asleep  ;D

I watched a few movies over Xmas, The Pianist and Black Book, both set in WWII first one in Poland and the other set in Holland, the Pianist was a hard watch.
Both good well made films.

Leave No Trace. A 2018 film about a man and his daughter who live in the forest in Oregon and get moved around a bit, a bit boring but I enjoyed it.

In Bruges. One of my favourite films, Ive seen it twice before, some black comedy but yet serious.

The Hateful Eight. Another favourite, love the typical Tarantino dialogue, love the feel of this movie.

Two Mules For Sister Sara. Ive always loved the Clint Eastwood westerns, this isnt the best but great soundtrack and storyline.

Gran Torino. Another Clint film which i rate highly, seen it 3 times now, great film.

I was halfway between Kathy and Kevin! I did doze off just a bit but with the heated reclining seats the threat of a complete zonk out was real!
