I was just watching Back to the Future and something occurred to me:

Christopher Lloyd

Harold Lloyd

At the beginning of the movie, watch closely when the camera pans all the clocks in Doc's home lab and you'll see...

Saw Joker at the cinema with my son.

Which was quite neat, because the previous cinema outing we shared was The Dark Knight a few years earlier.

I never thought anyone would equal Heath Ledger's fabulously intense and psychotic portrayal of The Joker. Yet Joaquin Phoenix, in his own disturbingly depressed way, is up there alongside him. Both are tour de force, bravura performances. Ledger's was a terrifyingly hysterical foray into insanity. Phoenix plumbs the depths of society's rejection of the mentally ill with pathos and vulnerability. Joker was slow to pick up momentum, but truly mesmerising by the finale.

All that said, of course, the real Joker will ALWAYS be Cesar Romero!

yesterday was a banner day in the house, rolled through Fargo, Good Will Hunting and part of The Big Lebowski.

Hadn't seen Fargo in many years, excellent film.  Good Will Hunting always is good, Robin Williams is fantastic in it as is Matt Damon.

The Invisible Man (2020) = It was just alright.  Suspenseful but lacking over all.

The Hunt = Really bad.  About liberals hunting a group of conservatives (or vice versa,,,I really dont remember).  Just awful.

Seen that Baz, really great film.

Im on a Western kick atm, watching Clints films free on youtube.
ATM Im watching For A Few Dollars more, Lee Van Cleef is good in this.

One Ive just seen stars Kurt Russell, its a recent western called Bone Tomohawk. Well worth a watch. Not on YouTube as its too new.

I usually have a hard time watching films that are really disturbing but this one is so good that I make myself deal with it! Another one is Good Fellas. I especially like the way they wove music into the story. My son loves What is Life because of this movie.  :)

While chasing El Indio, a most-wanted criminal, Monco meets Colonel Douglas Mortimer, who incidentally is also looking for El Indio. They enter into a partnership and decide to split the reward.
Initial release: 18 December 1965 (Italy)

Director: Sergio Leone
Film series: Dollars Trilogy
Music composed by: Ennio Morricone

The film was shot in Almería, Spain, with interiors done at Rome's Cinecittà Studios. The production designer Carlo Simi built the town of "El Paso" in the Almería desert: it still exists, as the tourist attraction Mini Hollywood. The town of Agua Caliente, where Indio and his gang flee after the bank robbery, was really Los Albaricoques, a small "pueblo blanco" on the Níjar plain.

Charles Bronson was offered the Van Cleef role but turned it down.

I'm glad you posted that, Todd. I've been debating whether to pay to stream that, but I likely won't now.

I tried to watch the 1991 awful remake of "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" and had to shut it off within 10 minutes. Ugh.
